Broxtowe Borough Council adds four new apprentice positions to its scheme

Broxtowe Borough Council is currently offering four new apprentice positions to its already established apprenticeship programme

The apprenticeship vacancies currently on offer include opportunities in the council’s grounds maintenance section, ICT Services and the Planning department giving young people an opportunity to learn more about what the council does whilst contributing to the delivery of an efficient and professional service to the local community.

All the current posts available offer a competitive salary, comprehensive on the job training, as well as the opportunity to gain a recognised vocational qualification in their chosen field.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 13th August 2014 at 5.00pm.

Helping young people into their first jobs is high on the list of priorities for the council, as part of its commitment to Jobs and Business Growth. The new apprentices will join the council’s already flourishing apprenticeship programme currently boasting 14 apprentices in a variety of roles across Council services.

All apprenticeship positions available with Broxtowe Borough Council are published on the Council’s website as well as being published to the Broxtowe Borough Council Facebook and Twitter profiles.
