Nationwide award launched to highlight apprenticeship shift

To celebrate the significant rise in the number of apprentices across the country, Hotcourses has launched a nationwide search to find Britain’s best apprentice.

The ‘Hotcourses Apprentice of the Year’ award will give recognition to the colleges that support the UK’s skilled trades and gives apprentices the chance explain why they deserve the prestigious title and £500 prize money.

Mark O’Donoghue, Managing Director of Hotcourses Education Media, said: “An apprenticeship can be a superb foundation for working in a wide range of industries and jobs, and there’s so much an apprentice can achieve for both themselves and their employer.”

“The Hotcourses Awards will take some of the most inspiring stories of how learning leads to better lives and shout them from the rooftops, in the hope of inspiring others to take their own equivalent journey.

“We have helped millions of people to find the course of their dreams, so now we’re going further in celebrating some of the amazing stories that we get back from learners and course providers.

“The award will reward someone who has really impressed both their employer and their college in both rapid learning and effective application of that learning to their job. It should throw up a wealth of great successes.”
