Ladders Associates Limited is a new organisation which works with charities and local government to improve community communication. The founder, Darran Martin, has shown his support for the apprenticeship scheme by hiring a digital marketing apprentice from Arch, Tatiana Moreira. His first recruit, Tatiana began the year long apprenticeship on 18th February.

Darran was keen to give a young person an opportunity after hearing about the apprenticeship programmes available. He met with advisors at the learning provider, Arch, to discuss the best way forward. He interviewed five potential applicants, looking to hire someone whose ambitions met that of the organisation.

Tatiana has settled in well and is supporting Darran across the business. As part of her apprenticeship, she spends four days a week in the office and one day in training. No day is the same for the young apprentice, whose tasks include improving website content, creating promotional material, increasing fundraising and managing social media.

Darran has been impressed by her phenomenal standard of work and hopes to bring her into full time employment after the completion of her apprenticeship.  He says: “The apprenticeship programme is fantastic as it gives young, talented and passionate people a chance to use their skills in a meaningful way.”
