Who will be crowned apprentice team of the year?

The Brathay Apprentice Challenge 2013 (BAC13), a competition to find the best apprentice team of the year, has seen more entries than ever before, generating support from large organisations such as Capgemini, Virgin Media and Rolls Royce. The challenge is supported by the National Apprentice Service and will test the work skills and personal qualities of the apprentice.

Businesses, training providers and colleges are encouraged to get their nominations in before the deadline on February 1st. The winning two teams from each region (Central, London and South East, North and South) will compete in an adventure challenge at the Brathay Trust’s Windermere headquarters in June.

Jaine Bolton, Chief Operating Officer at the National Apprenticeship Service, said: “We have already seen some great organisations enter teams, but we would welcome more entries to really hot up the contest. This competition gives apprentices the opportunity to shine and be recognised for the great contribution they offer to their employers. We also know that the skills they gain from this competition will stay with them for the whole of their working life and lead them to grow professionally.”
