QA Apprenticeships receives second nomination

Nominated for prestigious award

Apprenticeship training company QA Apprenticeships have received a second nomination for the Learning and Performance Institute’s ‘Apprenticeship Programme of the Year’ Award.

In February, the company received its first award for its hard work in developing apprenticeship frameworks in the country, creating links with employers across a wide range of different industries. This second nomination comes from the company’s progressive work with Cisco, training apprentices in their first ever scheme. In the past six months, QA Apprenticeships have placed over 750 apprentices, so this commendation stems from previous successes.

Director of QA Apprenticeships, Ben Pike, said: “To gain recognition from the Learning and Performance Institute for a second year running is a fine achievement and reflects our ability to adapt our programmes to meet emerging challenges. More blue-chip companies, such as Cisco, are adopting apprenticeships into their recruitment process. This means the demand for credible, flexible apprenticeship frameworks has never been greater; nominations like this highlight their key role in tackling youth unemployment in 2013.”
