In January 2015 the business received £500,000 in acceleration investment, and this week saw further progress with the news that Nesta Impact Investments and City and Guilds Group have backed GetMyFirstJob with a further £1m.

David Allison, MD GetMyFirstJob, said, “We are delighted to be working with Nesta Impact Investments and the City & Guilds Group as we embark on the next phase of growth for GetMyFirstJob. I am confident that this new investment will help us provide even more solutions to our ever-growing base of candidates, employers, providers and colleges.”

“With the new Apprenticeship Levy coming into effect, it is clear that employers are demanding increasingly high levels of service in helping to identify the right candidates for their businesses.”

the company has enjoyed excellent growth so far, and has attracted over 250,000 candidates to date. According to GetMyFirstJob figures, it processes around 30,000 applications every month.
