AQA is the largest provider of GCSEs and A-levels in the UK. Our expertise has now extended into the vocational education and training sector with the launch of our new Level 3 Tech-level qualifications in Business, Engineering and IT. These qualifications are ideal for learners aged 16+ who wish to specialise in an occupational area or progress into employment, onto an Advanced or Higher Apprenticeship or further study within their chosen industry.
Our Tech-levels are truly pioneering qualifications offering a real alternative to other vocational qualifications on the market. We’ve worked with employers and professional bodies at every stage of the qualifications development, regularly testing their structure and content, gaining feedback to make sure that they offer learners real choice and prepare them for success after college. Close collaboration with these organisations has enabled us to develop qualifications that better reflect the needs of a modern workplace.
The core content is relevant and up-to-date and will provide learners with the technical underpinning knowledge that will help prepare them for a career within their chosen industry. We’ve also contextualised essential transferable skills such as communication, problem solving, research and team-working within the units of the qualifications in response to the needs expressed by employers and professional bodies.
We’re confident our new suite of Tech-level qualifications provides a win-win solution for learners, tutors, centres and employers alike.
