New research from the Association of Colleges (AoC) in partnership with The Skills Show has found that school children want big changes made to the way in which they receive careers advice.
A recent report from the Association of Colleges (AoC) has criticised careers advice, revealing sixth form schools are putting up barriers between students and further education.
This funding will be available to support graduates who want to teach in the FE sector and the organisations that recruit them, with the hope that by September 2015 over 500 specialist maths teachers will be in employment.
AoC president Michele Sutton said: “It’s crucial that young people have access to information about all the options which are available to them to enable them to make informed decisions about what career paths to pursue."
