House of Commons’ apprentices land permanent jobs

House of Commons

Ten young apprentices have all secured permanent jobs in Parliament after impressing in their first year at the House of Commons.

The apprenticeships were created as part of the Evening Standard’s Ladder for London campaign. The apprentices, who are from a range of backgrounds, have all passed an NVQ in Business and Administration.

A spokeswoman said: “We have had a really successful year and the ten apprentices who joined us back in July last year are now very established and confident young individuals ready to take their next step into full-time employment.”
