Bath event for youngster considering apprenticeships

Next week will see an event designed to help parents and students decide on the best path towards work. Bath & North East Somerset Council, Bath Education Trust and St Gregory’s School have partnered to put on the event at the Guildhall on October 18th.

Those attending will have the opportunity to hear from employers and training providers as well as the chance ask questions of an expert panel drawn from the world’s of education, training and business.

Cllr Patrick Anketell-Jones, Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, said: “Promoting apprenticeships and giving our residents the skills that employers are looking for are both key ambitions in the Bath & North East Somerset Economic Strategy.
