Six apprentices are taking their first steps towards a career with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and have shared their experiences in a video to promote the range of opportunities an apprenticeship can offer.

The video, A day in the life of an apprentice, features stories from six young people who are working and studying for an apprenticeship in roles from admin to clinical support.

Director of people and organisational development for the trust, David Harris, said: “The best thing about apprenticeships with CWP is that young people have the opportunity to push themselves within their roles and gain a great foundation for their professional future.

“We have such a wide range of apprentice roles available and offer excellent progression opportunities. It really is a fantastic scheme that allows young people to develop their careers and to contribute fully to the important work of the trust.”
