NCFE and British Engines have teamed up with Baltic Training to launch a new initiative to address the skills shortage in the IT sector across the North East.

During the EuroSkills Competition, international industry partners, governmental agencies and educational institutions come together to encourage world class standards of skills and competences in Europe.

The Humber LEP demonstration pilot project will raise awareness of traineeships, help the LEP create better contacts with more employers and support those local employers to create the right traineeship opportunities that will help fill current and future jobs.
