Overcoming financial barriers
Northampton College will be delivering free apprenticeships to young people in the area to reduce unemployment rates. The decision comes after a recent consultation revealed that the main obstacle for young people and employers were financial costs. The new apprenticeships will be available to those aged 16-23, covering level 2 and 3.
A spokesperson said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic way of building a career in today’s world. More and more employers are seeing apprenticeships as a strategic method of developing their business.”
