The pioneering apprenticeship programme, Arch, created by Agilisys and the Blenheim Chalcot Group, has just celebrated its second birthday.
Ben Rowland, co-founder of Arch, said: "What is needed is a sustained campaign of information to bring parents and teachers up to speed with the amazing opportunities now opening up for young people who are entering the job market for the first time."
At a recent Guardian early careers summit, the results of an exclusive survey revealed that the three main people who influence students' decisions about further education are parents, teachers and employers.
Arch, the UK’s leading digital apprenticeship programme, has announced that it has started 2014 strongly, looking to recruit young people for over 100 apprenticeship vacancies, the highest number of IT and digital apprenticeships since its launch in August 2012.
