Media giant Sky will work together with the Tech Partnership to sponsor its Student/Employer North Event in Manchester on 17 November. The event is expected to attract 350 Tech partnership degree students from 20 UK universities and over 100 employers from top companies.
They will be able to enjoy a full day of employability skills sessions, motivational key note speakers, networking with recruiters and employer sponsored competitions.
Martha Jennings of Sky’s Starting Out programmes, says: “We’re excited to be the headline sponsoring company of the Tech Partnership’s Student/Employer Event this November. The Tech Partnership degrees have a desirable blend of technology, business and communications skills that we are looking for at Sky and we’re really looking forward to showcasing our exciting opportunities and meeting the network of students and supporting organisations.”
‘Positive impact for students’
Karen Price, CEO of the Tech Partnership says: “We’re delighted to welcome Sky to what is our biggest event of the year for students and employers. These events have such a positive impact for the students on Tech Partnership degrees: the energy and buzz they create is fantastic.
“Every year more employers take part to showcase their opportunities, and former students attend to inspire the next generation of tech and business leaders,” she added.
