Kudos trainee crowned Apprentice of the Year at Youth Business Achievement Awards

Charity Shop Systems provider Kudos Software is celebrating a fantastic achievement following after sales consultant Jack Taylor Apprentice of the Year award at The Youth and Business Achievement Awards.

‘Great contribution’

The awards, which were put together by the 16-24 Work Club, were celebrating the achievements of young businessmen and women in the Knightsbridge area.

Taylor, who was entered into the award by Kudos customer service director Nick Walker, demonstrated his commitment to the business during his apprenticeship, while adding value to the company.

“When we heard about the awards we were eager to submit an entry for Jack because of the great contribution he’s made to the business since he joined in September 2014,” said Walker.

“The company decided to enter Jack for the award for a number of reasons.  Firstly the speed with which he was able to pro-actively support customers with 1st line support calls, Jack was resolving customers’ issues within just 10 days of joining Kudos.  Secondly he picked things up so quickly that he was able to support customer installations too, relieving some of the stress during a very busy period.

Jack now does product development too and he’s developing a database for the company.  The project he’s managing will improve the internal management of training and installation time-management and invoicing.

Some customers ask for Jack by name, which shows how much he is valued by them, and therefore by Kudos,” concluded Walker.

Jack is now in the second year of his BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals at SDC.
