Medway Council invests £100,000 into local apprenticeships

Medway Council in Kent is giving 18 to 24-year-olds the chance to start apprenticeships with local businesses.

The council is investing £100,000 to give employers a helping hand when hiring their first apprentice.

Spokesman Robin Cooper said: “The more local young people we can help get into work the better, and apprenticeships are a great way of learning.”

The campaign will run until October.
