Preparing young people for work – priorities for the new Parliament

On Thursday 18th June, a conference, ‘Preparing young people for work – priorities for the new Parliament’, will be held in London.

This conference will provide a timely opportunity to discuss policy and best practice for ensuring that more young people can gain the skills or experience they need to enter the world of work.

It follows recent commitments from the main political parties, aimed at reducing the number of young people not in education, employment or training – including the commitment from the Prime Minister to “abolish” youth unemployment.
