Hill Dickinson to recruit third intake of legal apprentices

International law firm Hill Dickinson has launched a recruitment initiative this November, for six new legal apprentices to join its offices in Liverpool and Manchester next autumn. This will be the firm’s third annual intake of apprentices, and it will be delivered by CILEx Law School.

The apprentices will work for two years towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services.

Whilst the apprentices develop their skills and knowledge they will be involved from the outset in preparing court bundles, drafting documents from templates and other file-progression tasks, as well as assisting with administration.

Hill Dickinson’s Head of People and Talent, Sarah Pickerill said: “The young people we are recruiting as legal apprentices will play a key role in the future of the firm. The legal apprenticeship route is an ideal way of teaching young people the specialist skills needed to deliver first-class legal services to our clients and the success of this scheme over the past two years is testament to this. By way of demonstration we have recently celebrated the success of legal apprentice, Jessica Gallagher, from our Manchester office, who gained the joint highest mark in the country in her Tort Law module.”
