SMEs to benefit from new apprenticeship recruitment project

A new project has been launched by Worcestershire Training Providers Association in partnership with Worcestershire LEP and Worcestershire Business Central to help local SMEs hire apprentices.

Through the programme SMEs can gain free and independent advice about the benefits and practical steps involved in recruiting apprentices from the expert advisers.

Director Kim Cook said: “Apprenticeships are a great way of growing your business and developing new talent at the same time. This project is vital as it offers 1:1 support to businesses who have identified that they would like to recruit an Apprentice and in turn drive local economic growth, tackle skills shortages and improve career prospects for young people across Worcestershire!”
