  3. Submit a few tailored applications only.
  4. Think about why this role is good for your career.
  5. Make sure you know what you can bring to the role.
  6. You are not applying for a training course or a “placement” – you are applying for a job.
  7. If you are enthusiastic, eager to learn and prepared to put your head down to work, you WILL be of value to any employer.
