1000 apprentices battle it out to win apprentice team of the year

More than 1000 apprentices in over 110 teams have entered The Brathay Apprentice Challenge 2014, in a bid to be crowned the apprentice team of the year.

Over 110 teams have entered from a range of businesses across the country including HSBC and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The Brathay Apprentice Challenge gives apprentices the chance to improve their team building, logistical, leadership and community skills. Consisting of nine apprentices, the teams will spread the word aboutaApprenticeships through school visits, media interviews and social media activity and will take on a local community project before the end of March.

Finalists will be announced in April at the House of Commons before going on to compete in further activities prior to the national finals in June 2014.
