Networking event a “fantastic opportunity” for businesses of all sizes

On November 21st, Elmbridge Council is holding a business networking event at Velocity Brooklands to coincide with global entrepreneurship week.

Residents and businesses will have the chance to network with organisations and entrepreneurs and find out information to help companies further, including funding, apprenticeships and free data services.

Guest speakers will share advice on starting up a business, securing money through crowdfunding and exporting abroad.

Councillor Christine Cross, portfolio holder for community development, said: “Businesses are a vital part of our community. This event is a fantastic opportunity for businesses all sizes, new and old to network and discover the fantastic services available to support them.”
