Roadshow encourages young people to opt for apprenticeships

Last Thursday, Essex County Council’s ‘Discover Your Future’ road show visited Stansted’s Forest Hall School to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships.

Essex County Councillor Kevin Bentley, deputy leader and cabinet member for economic growth and infrastructure, said: “I would encourage any young people that are unsure what to do when they leave school to consider an apprenticeship. It’s a chance to learn skills which will enable you to progress in a career and gain employment. An apprentice has the chance to earn money whilst learning. They will spend some time with a training provider and the rest working in an Essex based business.”
