IAC to give industry apprentices a national voice

The IAC is calling all apprentices to take part in a survey to get a better idea of the wider apprentice community. The group wants feedback to help shape its future campaigns, discussions with government and education organisations. It also is looking to support calls for improved apprenticeships careers advice in schools.

Sam Ball, a member of the IAC, said: “All IAC members are current apprentices themselves and have first-hand experience of the vocational route and careers information, advice and guidance in schools. However, it’s important we hear from others as well, to give us a bigger picture of the Apprenticeships landscape, from the apprentices’ point of view.

“We want to give apprentices a national voice – something we have not had before – so it’s important that we hear from as many apprentices as possible for us to do that. The survey is one way we are trying to engage with other industry apprentices.”

Those at taking part in the survey have the chance to win 2 tickets to the 2014 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix Practice Session at Silverstone. The survey can be found here and closes on October 28th.
