DAC Beachcroft employs legal apprentices as part of new scheme

Leading international law firm DAC Beachcroft has taken on five young people to complete an Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services.

Three will be based in Bristol, and two in Newport, working in Claims Solutions and the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency teams.

The Level 3 apprenticeship is a new qualification developed by Skills for Justice and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). It attracts government funding for the employment and training of young people aged 24 and under.

Therese Tyson, HR Manager at DAC Beachcroft said: “This is a pilot programme for DAC Beachcroft and we are confident that apprenticeships will prove to be a successful and popular way of training paralegals and bringing new talent into the firm.”
