Stephensons invests in employees through legal apprenticeships

Stephensons, a law firm based in the North West, is championing the apprenticeship pathway by employing school leavers as legal apprentices.

According to thebusinessdesk.com, the firm has taken on one legal apprentice and one PR apprentice, but still has other opportunities available for other A-level students who would rather enter the world of work than go to university.

Last month 18-year-old Chloe Kendall joined Stephenson’s marketing team, and Rachel Ord, 18, joined the clinical negligence department as its first paralegal apprentice.

Janine Turner, HR manager said: “Stephensons has always invested in developing the careers of our people, they are after all our greatest asset. We’ve been looking into offering apprenticeships for a while and we’re delighted to be part of the new legal apprenticeship scheme.”
