PwC increases higher apprenticeship vacancies to meet business needs

To meet its growing business needs, professional services firm PwC has increased its number of higher apprenticeship vacancies to 120, it has been reported.

The apprentices will work in the Business Recovery Services’ team and Tax and Management consulting, beginning in Autumn 2013. During their two year training programmes, the apprentices will work on live business assignments and gain in depth industry knowledge.

Gaenor Bagley, head of people, PwC said: “We’re really encouraged by the level of interest students are showing in Higher Apprenticeships at PwC and the fantastic quality and variety in the applicants. For us, it’s widened the access gate to the profession, without lowering the bar in terms of the talent we’re attracting.”
