Apprentice ambassador champions apprenticeships

Are you thinking of hiring an apprentice? The best way to find out about the business benefits of hiring an apprentice is from the employers themselves.  Keith Churchouse, Director of Chapters Financial Planning in Guildford, shares his experience below:

“I’ve become an apprentice ambassador recently and it would be a bit rich to ask others to take one on without being willing to commit ourselves. Our apprentice has come on board and worked hard, gained his national vocational qualification 1 in business administration and is taking his CF1. He’s starting in back office operations with the view to his becoming an adviser.

The process has been successful and we’re looking to take on another apprentice in April. I started as an apprentice and I feel some of the job opportunities we had then no longer exist for young people today.”
