Further to recent news regarding Ford and the University of Greenwich‘s partnership, created in a bid to get School leavers a B.Eng Engineering Degree whilst working as an apprentice, it has been announced that there are only four places left on the Higher Apprenticeship scheme.

In conjunction with leading training provider, Skillnet, the two organisations are offering school leavers the chance to train as a graduate engineer from September 2014 onwards.

School leavers are being urged to apply for the opportunity by Friday 9th August 2013.

This is a genuinely innovative programme that supports the development of the next generation of engineers. We’re looking for people with a passion for Engineering and the drive to become a successful employee” comments Tessa Hougham, Ford of Britain Apprenticeship Manager.

This is a really exciting option because, unlike some peers who decide to go straight to university, you won’t be paying your own tuition fees, and you will be earning a salary at the same time as earning your degree.”
