Applications open for accountancy apprenticeship programme

Young people in London can now apply to an accountancy apprenticeship programme run through the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, where they can study alongside working as a mentor in local schools.

The programme offers apprentices training and development to kick start their finance careers. It has been developed by Leadership through Sport, a charity which helps talented young adults with an interest in business and sport maximise their potential.

While studying the AAT Accounting Qualification, the young people will have the chance to work at some of the country’s leading financial organisations.

Kerrie Robbins, Education Development Officer at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation said: “We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and driven individuals, capable of displaying leadership skills with a view to progressing within an organisation or through other areas in commerce, business and community work.”
