Helping more city residents to become apprentices

Nottingham City Council has launched its Apprenticeship Hub Provider Charter and is encouraging firms in the county to show their support for apprenticeships by signing up. The hub was set up towards the end of 2012 to provide more support to businesses hiring apprentices.

Councillor Nick McDonald, said: “We want Nottingham to be known as a leading city for apprenticeships. This charter formalises our agreement with training providers and other support services for young people looking for work. It will help more city residents become apprentices.”
