Gordons, a law firm in Bradford and Leeds, has won an award for its apprenticeship scheme. The programme was introduced by Gordons in 2011 to train school-leavers in legal professions. It won the apprenticeship ambassador category at the Leeds Apprenticeship Awards, which recognises the leading advocates of apprenticeships.

Gordons partner, Barbara Rollin, said: “We were one of the first law firms to establish an apprenticeship scheme delivering a graduate equivalent qualification and have been running it successfully now for over two years. We are currently recruiting our 2013 intake, with one apprentice already confirmed on the programme.”
