Insurance company One Answer Network has employed three apprentices in a move to harness new talent and raise awareness of the profession. It began its apprenticeship scheme in August 2012, with the intention of making insurance broking an attractive career choice to school leavers. The firm plans to hire new apprentices every six months as the company grows.

One Answer Network managing director, Paul Muir, said: “We see it as our duty to educate and generate the next generation of employees and are excited to be able to offer this chance to three more individuals. It has been four months since we introduced the scheme and we are thrilled with its success. Our apprentices are faring extremely well and enjoying the interesting and varied existence of an insurance broker.

“We are committed to our employees, both new and old. The power of training and educational competence should not be underestimated and as such we have offered all of our existing employees the opportunity to carry out CII qualifications with a view to becoming a fully CII registered firm. We were pleased to report a 100% uptake.”
