Professional Qualifications Adviser at wealth management group Skandia UK, Mark Hammond, discusses how apprentices are a good way to harness the skilled workforce a business needs to succeed.

“Using continuous evaluation we find that apprentices and employees develop greater confidence, a broader skill set and a better understanding of the financial services business when they are able to access a structured programme of development. Our apprentices typically start at Level 2, with 80% progressing to Level 3 and 40% continuing their learning to Level 4.”
