Supporting apprenticeships

Stafford MP, Jeremy Lefroy has shown his support for the Government’s vision to invest in apprenticeships and applauds businesses in Stafford who are already embracing the pathway. Lefroy stated that Conservatives in Government were supporting apprenticeships to make sure that the UK had the skills in place for the future generation. He has heralded local businesses who are already benefitting from the system.

Lefroy has said that 830 people across the Stafford constituency began apprenticeships in the year 2011-12, with 250 starting in the first quarter of the current academic year.

Lefroy said: “I know from work that I have seen at a variety of local businesses that apprenticeships are a win for the individual and a win for the business.”
