Greater London employers to loan their apprentices to other businesses

Kaplan’s clients will loan their apprentices

Training provider Kaplan has teamed up with its clients RSM Tenon, Better Business Decisions, and local SMEs to offer businesses in Greater London an extra member of staff for one day, at no cost.

The decision follows National Apprenticeship Week, as Kaplan wishes to continue increasing knowledge about the apprenticeship pathway. The clients will loan out their apprentices to other businesses to demonstrate the quality of apprenticeship candidates and the many business benefits.

The offer is open to a range of businesses of any size, as Kaplan apprentices study across sectors from accountancy to business administration and customer service. The apprentice will be suitably placed to suit the needs of your business.

If you are interested in this offer, contact Kaplan by calling Elizabeth Hess, Director of Communications at Kaplan on 07983 435705.

Kaplan training centre manager for London, Sharon Ward, says: “Employer research shows that businesses that embrace Apprenticeships believe that their apprentices make their organisation more productive, more competitive, and provide the skilled workers they need for the future.

“Yet, we also know from our clients that many business owners and managers have concerns about employing a young person – often because of persistent stereotypes that don’t stand up to scrutiny. By allowing one of the bright, motivated and enthusiastic Kaplan Apprentices to spend time with another employer, we hope to showcase these benefits first hand, thanks to Better Business Decisions and RSM Tenon’s support.”
