Leading European private education and training provider, BPP, has launched a new professional apprenticeship programme. This will benefit young people and employers by making it easier for people to obtain careers in professional occupations without going down the traditional university route. Apprenticeships will be available in Marketing, Investment, Consulting, HR, and Accountancy.

The UK Government is supportive of apprenticeships and funds almost 500,000 of apprentice training places every year. The apprenticeship that BPP offers in Finance, Business and Law has been aligned with professional qualifications such as AAT and ICAEW, as students can progress up to chartered status.

James Hamill, Director BPP Professional Apprenticeships. “The majority of the top employers in the country have either established or are establishing high quality school leavers programmes to match their established graduate recruitment strategy. We are currently talking with a range of major employers about offering these apprenticeships. These ten new opportunities, added to the four we already have, could make the difference for thousands of young people as well as helping employers cope with the much-quoted ‘skills gap’.”
