Business and administration employees are found in every company; solving everyday business problems and managing data and information. In the UK, over 3.25 million people work in business and administration, and 1.1 million job openings are expected to arise between the years 2012 and 2020.

Skills CFA are working towards addressing the need for skilled employees in this profession by developing business and administration apprenticeships which are designed for, and by, employers.  Over the past two years, a growth of 184% has been seen in business apprenticeship starts, reflecting the increasing demand for qualifications.

Skills CFA Interim Head of Development, Matthew Street, says: “The Business and Administration apprenticeship has been a huge success over the past few years and is one of the most popular apprenticeships in the UK, not just because of the demand for nationally-recognised standards but because it suits employers. Apprenticeships are proving to be a key route into business careers and a vital tool for recession-stricken employers to run and grow their business. We develop apprenticeships for a wide range of business roles and levels, which now account for 30% of apprenticeship starts nationally, which is the largest, and most successful, apprenticeship footprint in the country.”
