Technical Training Group take on three apprentices

Organisation show support for the apprenticeship scheme

One of the largest apprentice training programmes based in Middlesbrough, Technical Training Group (TTE) has recently shown its support of the apprenticeship scheme by taking on three young people to train in its business development, finance and administration teams.

The three apprentices, ranging from 17-19 years of age, have all taken positions in business administration. Their training consists mainly of on-the-job learning, with the apprentices spending half a day a week at Redcar and Cleveland College. To keep track of the apprentices’ progress, staff from the college will visit them in the workplace on a regular basis.

Managing director of TTE, Steve Grant, said: “As a provider of apprenticeship training we know the value apprentices can bring to a business. The development of our core support team created the opportunity to introduce business administration apprenticeships, which will benefit our business and the career development of these young people.”
